You know you just got back from Lotusphere....

... when even days later your feet feel like you ran a marathon.
... when you reach for your badge holder in the morning so they will let you into breakfast.
... when you are so inspired to upgrade, enhance or otherwise change your environment, you put in change control request for things you haven't even planned out yet.
... when you've spoken to dozens of people for hours a day but still ran out of time to talk to everyone you wanted to.
... when you live in 80 degree temperatures but still bring a jacket to your home office, in case the air conditioning is "like at Lotusphere" and set to "stupid cold".
... when you think back on the major business and personal relationships in your life and realize that you met most of them at previous Lotusphere®'s.

When your feet start bleeding

When you can tell the day of the week by the food and the cutlery. Wednesday is spork day, and thursday is 'its in a box' day.

When you give all possible bananas to Francie

When the head barman at the Dolphin says 'Hi Bill, back again I see'.

...when you think that your boss believes you *had* to take someone to Shula's to close the deal

...when you miss singing along to Proclaimers songs at 2 in the morning

...when you've got enough rags (vendor t-shirts?) to polish your car for the next year

...when you get a bazillion emails from companies you don't know anything about (see above . . . )

...when you really *DO* look forward to going back next year to catch up with your newest old friends . . .

...when the head guy at the dining tent is actually looking for you to say hi

...when you know the order of the songs in the book at Kimonos

...when the sound guy for sessions calls you "the walker"

...when the people you most want to see are often the busiest ones and our group makes times to make it happen

..when the park night is not an amazing event, but a reason to spend quiet time instead

...when you can tell they freshly painted or changed the carpet in any meeting room

..when you find things you stuffed in bags to look at later and realize the technology is now too old to matter

When you find yourself drowning? falling asleep in? the anesthesia of the workaday routine, and remember how just days ago you were face to face with the real you...

When you ignore the grief of not seeing your friends for another year and just get on with it...

When you are madly rushing to download the LS session slides before they disappear...
