Working with Access Control Lists (ACLs)

Export an ACL (to XML file or Notes Document)
Sometimes you want to backup an ACL or copy an ACL across other databases.
  1. Open any target database
  2. Launch NoteMan.ACLTools icon
  3. Click the ACL Export tab
  4. Choose to export to an XML file on your file system, or to a Notes Document stored in the NoteMan database
  5. Click the Export button


Note: Choosing "Notes Document" as the destination results in the ACL information being stored in the NoteManager.nsf database. This information will be lost if you install a new version of NoteMan. Therefore, use the "File System" option if you want to ensure exported ACLs are not overwritten by NoteMan upgrades.
